Ice cream is a firm favourite in any household, especially those with kids! Two ingredients that are easily available at home is coffee, and bananas! Try your hand at making this delicious Banana & Coffee Ice Cream from Checkers. The recipe uses only three ingredients and takes just five minutes to prepare. You’ll definitely go bananas for this one!
We love Angie Durrant’s food & lifestyle blog: Lucky Pony. She shares her famous Salted Caramel M&M Cookies over here. These are soft and chewy with a caramel centre, surrounded with milky chocolate M&Ms that melt in your mouth with a bit of crunch at the coating. Angie says: “If you have never made your own salted caramel sauce before, don’t stress, it’s really easy and so worth it because this sauce tastes nothing like what comes out of a squeezy bottle!” We think this would be a great one to make for the kids. Another great one from Angie’s blog is her Doughnut Cookies, which you’ll definitely want for the cookie jar at home!

This recipe is super easy and quick to whip up for a sweet breakfast. The best part? They take only 10 minutes to make and are quite healthy. She adds a bit of oats to give them a nice texture and the lemon and blueberry flavours pair so perfectly. These are lovely to keep in the kitchen for a quick breakfast (serve with fresh fruit and yoghurt) or a sweet snack for the kids to grab between meals.
Still talking about Drizzle and Dip’s recipes, we love a fresh bread right out of the oven. Sam’s Perfect & Easy Wholewheat Bread requires no kneading and really is so easy to make. What we love about it is that you can really experiment and customise your bread according to the toppings and extras that you like. You can add pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds or even some dried fruit and nuts. This bread will be a real crowd-pleaser at home and is a much healthier, more wholesome alternative to long-life bread. We highly recommend giving this one a go!
